Infant Child Care
New for late Fall 2010: our Infant program will be enhanced to include sign language, baby reading, baby math and more!
At Mini-Skool we foster healthy and happy infants in a warm and nurturing, infants-only environment. Babies' earliest experiences lay the foundation of how they will learn, think and behave for the rest of their lives. Babies are cared for with genuine love and affection, coupled with constant attention to developmental needs.
The caregivers at our infant daycare centers are trained to understand early child development and to use that understanding in planning appropriate and stimulating infant activities. Caregivers constantly interact with babies by smiling, hugging, singing, reading, and talking. We believe that every interaction with babies should be a message that their needs are being met in the most loving, gentle manner. The "home-like" setting of the nursery allows infants to build trust in themselves and those who care for them. Our priority is safety. The rooms in our infant daycare center have been carefully designed to create a secure environment. Cribs are separated from feeding and play areas.
We ensure that you remain the most significant and most important adult in your baby’s life as we work together as a family unit. Daily written and verbal communication keeps you informed about every part of your baby's day. It is our experience that this high level of communication furnishes peace of mind and a mutual respect between our parents and caregivers.
Mini-Skool's infant curriculum consists of developmentally appropriate infant activities designed to help your baby reach key milestones. We recognize that infants develop at vastly different paces, which is why caregivers review your child’s progress twice each year, using Mini-Skool's Developmental records.
