2019 – Eat, Play, Love – A Family Fun Day

What can I say, but THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for making our Eat, Play, Love – A Family Fun Day Fundraising Event so successful. As a result of all your support, generosity and participation, we were able to raise $5300 for the “Canadian Cancer Society.

There were so many people who contributed to the success of this event, but let me first acknowledge TEAM BRAMPTON, who hosted the event and did an outstanding job. You should all be so proud of yourselves!

We also wouldn’t have accomplished this without all our sponsors, vendors and amazing people who support Mini-Skool in various capacities. We THANK them for their generosity and continued support. Let’s not forget the flyers and tickets which were once again, graciously donated by DANICE, the numerous gifts donated for the silent auction by parents, employees, our vendors and online donations were fantastic and way more than we expected.

We are so THANKFUL to all our clients, the many families, friends and volunteers that came out to support this event. It’s wonderful to see the participation of employee’s children and grandchildren, as you are teaching them to pay it forward by supporting our communities and organizations that require much needed assistance. I truly appreciate that you took away from your personal time to support this event. The activities you organized provided lots of engagement and fun for the children and adults too!

I always have to take a moment to offer a very special THANK YOU to Tasnim Bhujwalla Mirasol, (a past Mini-Skool employee), who brought this pay it forward initiative to Mini-Skool and inspired us to give back to those in need, our community and other organizations in need of support. Through this initiative, we’ve been able to raise $6,200 in 2016 in support of Sick Kids, $7,500 in 2017 in support of Help Athena 2 Walk, $5,000 in 2018 for Autism Ontario and now$5,300 for the Canadian Cancer Society totalling $24,000 in the past four years. I applaud all of you and your efforts in attaining this result. I also want to thank Tasnim for bringing her sons Xavier and Khalil to participate in these events, as I know she wants to teach them to pay it forward too.

I’d like to also extend a very heartfelt THANKS to Ms Teen Galaxy – Sore Sanni, who took the time from her busy schedule to volunteer for our event. She showed off her face painting talents and certainly didn’t disappoint, all those who took part in that activity. I commend her for the wonderful work she does to support the various communities. I wish her all the best in all her future endeavours.
