Once again I’m soooooooooo pleased to announce that Our Eat, Play, Love – A Family Fun Day Fundraising Event was such a HUGE success. As always, it was as a result of all of your support, generosity and participation that we were able to raise $5,000 for “AUTISM ONTARIO” through on line donations and at our fundraising event.

Special thanks to Tasnim Bhujwalla Mirasol, (a past Mini-Skool employee), her sons Xavier and Khalil, her nephews Mohammed and Taher Bhujwalla and her sister-in-law Tasneem Bhujwalla who continue to support Mini-Skool events, our communities and their families. As you know Tasnim actually kick started this annual event two years ago, by asking us to support her efforts in raising monies for Sick Kids. It was hosted by the BROMSGROVE Mini-Skool which raised $6,200 for this organization. Last year our event was dedicated to the“Help Athena 2 Walk” campaign which was hosted by the RICHMOND HILL Mini-Skool, which raised $7,500. We continue to be committed to an annual event to support the community and their families and any worthy causes, as a small way of giving back. It’s so important to be thankful for the simple things in life that we often take for granted and also to teach children the value and benefits of paying it forward.

Most importantly, I would like to acknowledge our Mini-Skool Team Participants and our wonderful volunteers which are as follows: From our Head Office – Tracy-Ann Brown-Chung, her son Daniel and Dave Diaz; from our Richmond Hill Mini-Skool – Christine Halliday, Vicky Dimitropoulos and her son Konstantine, Sabrina Campacci, Sheila Alicandro, Nooshin Fahid Ramezani, Valine Allen and her daughter Marisa; from our Bromsgrove Mini-Skool – Sue Holder, Kayla Bellerose and Alesia Terrana; from our Cawthra Mini-Skool – Mary Rovos, Alliana Hancott, her husband Jason and their children Nathan, Mackenzie and Myles, Jag Jarmana, Stephanie Gomes, Jessie Fox, Lucy DeMelo, Ashley Poirier, Aimee Ducharme and her sister Tiara, Nasheeta Allani, Fazilath Shaffie and her daughter Nashita and her son Athyab, Vanessa Aguilar, Kausar Khanum; from our Brampton Mini-Skool – Tina Gnanapragasam, Ruby Hathaway and her children, Zack, Hannah and Annie, Jason Garbutt, Grace, Gaganjot Mehay, Jessie Freitas and her daughter Emily; from our Bramalea Mini-Skool – Renise McLeod, her daughter Chanelle and Nitsiki Mitchell.

I will end with a very sincere and heartfelt THANKS to each and every one of YOU, for your gift of time, your generosity, your kindness, your support, your love, your passion, your patience, your guidance, your talents and so much more that contributed to the success of this event. Your hard work and efforts are acknowledged and appreciated more than words could express and thank you is not enough suffice to say. Congratulations, as you paid it forward in such a big way and I know that you and your families will be blessed in life for the simple gift of giving back. To all the Mini-Skool employees that participated, I am truly proud and humbled to have you on the Mini-Skool Team and for all the friends and family volunteers, I feel so honoured and thankful that you dedicated your time to this fabulous event. I especially want to thank the employees and volunteers who brought their children to support this event. What wonderful role models you all are to your children, as you’ve shown them the importance of giving back and supporting the community. I applaud you and your children, as you all did an outstanding job of providing some joy, fun and educational experiences to our guests. You should be proud of yourselves!

I will end by wishing you and your families the best of health and much happiness and THANK YOU one last time for your contribution that made our event so successful, as we couldn’t have done it without YOU!
